Howard Green

Howard L. Green started Public History Partners in the summer of 2005 upon his retirement from the New Jersey Historical Commission, whose research office he directed for more than twenty years. Howard is the editor of Words that Make New Jersey History and the author of numerous articles and reviews on New Jersey and public history. He is a former president of the Oral History Association, and a member of the New Jersey Historic Sites Review Board.

Julia Green

Julia R. Williams trained as an art historian with a specialty in American art. She has co-written two books on American art in the 1930s, The Regionalists: Painters of the American Scene (with Nancy Heller) and Artists Against War and Fascism: Papers of the First American Artists Congress (with Matthew Baigell). Julie is a contributor to the Dictionary of American Art and has been a guest curator at the New Jersey State Museum.
